Since 2017, SING SING SING!® has enabled thousands of kids of all ages to experience the joy and empowerment that music brings. Whether it’s through private lessons, group classes culminating in exciting performances, camps or our signature award winning karaoke parties we’re here to help you discover your “inner star.”
Our mantra is GRAB LIFE BY THE MIC®—because, in our opinion, that best describes the life changing force of singing and performing. Over the years, countless visitors have told us they wish they had something like our SING SING SING!® program in their own hometowns. Well, we listened! SING SING SING!®, is not just another music school—we’re a community where passion for music meets empowerment and creativity.
Our story began when a deep love for singing and first hand experiences with the positive impacts performing can have on one’s life led us to create Sing Sing Sing! A place where everyone can and should sing. A place where everyone can experience confidence building‘spotlight’ opportunities that have the power to transforms lives. As Co-Founder and CEO, Jacki Smathers says, “We’re not just changing the culture of traditional music schools; we’re creating a space where opportunities and musical experiences are for everyone. We set out to create a welcoming, exciting space that provides opportunities we wish existed when we were kids!”
Our core belief that music is for everyone is at the heart of all of our programs and experiences. We cater to beginners just discovering their voices all the way through to semi-professionals looking to refine their craft for a future career in the music industry and there’s a space for those in between who just want an opportunity to belt out some tunes with their friends on our stage. Our highly educated and experienced instructors offer custom tailored private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and songwriting as well as group classes. Our robust Performance Program is where magic truly happens. We bring students together in dynamic group classes where they master performance skills — taking the stage in mini ‘Pop Groups’ singing and dancing in curated contemporary themed ‘concerts.’
Additionally, the mantra that singing is for everyone is on full display at our signature Karaoke Pop Star parties! A crowd favorite, these award winning experiences enable anyone to access their inner star power. These inclusive, joy filled experiences are perfect for birthdays or any celebration where fun and music come together.

Step Into The Spotlight with a Sing Sing Sing!® Franchise!
At SING SING SING!®, we’re on a mission to give everyone a moment in the spotlight. We bring star power and stage experience to everybody, and now we’re ready to take the SING SING SING!® show on the road through franchising. Imagine bringing our incredible, joy-filled programs and experiences to your community, helping others discover their voice, gain confidence, and make lifelong friendships.
Our music education programs are empowering, fun and are full of excitement! Our Performance Program is where personalized learning meets thrilling group experiences. It’s a blend of the focused attention of our private lessons, the lively energy and teamwork of our 6 week classes and summer camps, and the star-studded stage presence and excitement of our award-winning signature Pop Star Stage karaoke parties. Each season—Fall, Spring, and Summer—comes with its own curated contemporary theme, offering fresh, exciting challenges for our students. Weekly rehearsals lead up to a grand finale—a spectacular show at a large-scale venue where our students showcase their skills in solo and group singing, dancing, and even playing instruments.
For our youngest beginners, we offer our One Star, a performance group where kids learn teamwork, stage presence, and vocal skills, all while having a blast. The students progress through our program, Two Stars, Three Stars, Four Stars, ultimately participating in our 5 Star group. Students can then be invited to audition for our ‘All Stars’ semi-professional performance group and have access to unique regional performance opportunities.
Our franchise locations will be about 2400 square feet of space with an atmosphere of fun! Each school will exude our culture of inclusion, with a welcoming, vibrant and dynamic environment. We’ve created the perfect backdrop for all of our programming. Every corner of our space is designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a sense of joy.

We will support our franchisees every step of the way. We’ll help with every aspect of running a business: financial, staffing, site selection, marketing all the way through organizing the “big venue” events – we’re here to help. After all, we’ve “been there and done that.” Training will take place in our greater Pittsburgh facilities before our franchisees open their doors. Franchisees will benefit from our tested materials – showbooks, recommended music, choreography (including videos), costume ideas and much more. All of the work we have done developing the programs that make us unique as a music school destination will be available to our franchisees.

Our Emcee Emily helped us get the party started with a Battle of the Sexes style Name that Tune, which helped ease us onto the mic/stage, and then she stepped in as our photographer and our lead/back-up singer. Frequently asked questions
Do I need prior experience to become a SING SING SING!® franchisee?
Prior experience as a music teacher or similar background is helpful. However, while experience is helpful, the desire to succeed and the belief that hard work is its own reward will go a long way toward getting off on the right foot in a business venture. We are looking for people who enjoy working with people, who love music, are entrepreneurial, and believe in hard work.
Where should I locate my business?
Our understanding of the market has enabled us to understand the kinds of geographic locations that work best for a SING SING SING!® franchise location. As we evaluate geographical territories, we will work with our franchisees to help them find the right location and market.
How will you support my franchising efforts?
We provide training at our facility in the Greater Pittsburgh area, as well as training at our franchisees’ sites as needed. We have developed an extensive library of materials that franchisees can use for their events. We will assist in site selection, guidance on how to recruit the right types of teachers, and we will guide our franchisees in all aspects of running a music school. We’ll be with you every step of the way!
How will I market my SING SING SING!® franchise?
We have fine-tuned the marketing strategies which will help. Social media is one very effective way to spread the word about the school. We’ll also share our recommendations on community activities and events that can help to build the brand.
